I think I like them so well because I would have absolutely loved them as a kid, but I enjoy this series quite a bit. I had a little trouble with the story; mainly their was just so much information with the world-building and historical aspects that the book felt slow. I think this book is totally up the paranormal alley. The Chronology appears to be a standard feature of every Osprey Publishing Company book especially those within the "Essential Histories" series by Osprey. What treasures might be locked within. I was a bit hesitant to read this because I didn't think anything could be compared to my favorite series Bloodlines. How different could we be after just a few weeks.
