These are super fun books with just enough texts and illustrations for my 7 years old daughter who just started reading the chapter books. I find my self re-reading scenes to experience them again even before I finish the book. I love this series and highly recommend these books except to young children. The basic idea of this book is that democracy doesn't equal freedom and that the United States was not founded on the idea of democracy but that of individual liberty and a limited state. I really enjoyed this novel because the storyline was intriguing in a different way. Yes, it was short, but it was SO nice to see Kate (and Hawke. It is through the relationship's enriching our souls that one can serve, participate, and "do" the other good Christian activities.
