This is an extremely well-written mystery, as it keeps the reader guessing and in edge-of-your-seat suspense at every moment. I particularly enjoyed his description of a journey across the painted desert. These are great beach and commuter reads—books you'll enjoy on the plane, train or in the car, during business travel as well as on vacation, poolside, while in the hotel, the airport or just waiting in line. Reading the assembled writings in this book, which describe musicians, their performances, and their special natures, is like a trip backstage in rock and roll history. This book is actually more relevant that almost all of the current books I have read about the perilous fiscal times ahead for the US dollar and our banking system. Highly recommend a read. This only slightly detracted from the story, but enough so where I had to dock a star. It's always difficult to get across the ferocity of emotion that can be so easily conveyed in dance, (when watching a ballet with exceptional dancers, it's very easy to believe in love-at-first-sight) but the two do well here with their attempts to keep it simple and poignant. This is a challenging topic that they address thoughtfully. Glassberg lives in Bellingham, WA with his hypier active cat Cleo. She is the late in life child of elderly parents with old fashioned values. Still not my top pick out of the series, but I gave it a second chance and I would re-read again. I purchased this book because the premise sounded really exciting and interesting. At the end she said, with a trimphant smile, "See.
