Wilcox is an update of an earlier edition, and it does not disappoint. It teaches children character and morals. She is a fellow Saint Louisan and an entertaining and engaging speaker. This is a pretty good book. Her recipes produce delicious food made with wholesome ingredients. First off, I think they push kids a little too fast these days. Demonstrates that the thirst for knowledge and education can bring about the ownership of one's own destiny. While this book is specifically targeted at WAS 7. Small towns everywhere have their share of "local" eccentrics but I have to say that after living in Utah, I feel that Ford has managed to capture some of the things that make that state and their small towns unique.
