"Mysteries of New Orleans" is certainly one of the most interesting books I've read this year. There are many courses to deliver skills, there are a number of books to catalog "tools and techniques," but Lyerly and Maxey have invited you into their living room for an interview with them. For anyone less inclined than I was to enjoy Tao Lin's work, I would recommend Bed as your starting point. The story is full of details and every character is painted with loving detail.
