No doubt, many readers will be reading through the list of contributors and their respective topics and think of others who could have been in there as well, but the books is an selection of representatives and not an exhaustive reference book with the best of everyone on each subject. Lonnie has a direct and memorable way of saying it. I needed this book for an online Maymester class and I used this one instead of the 9th edition that was 150 dollars. Little fish TAO likes to be on his own,Until his parents and friends find the ways to his heart and mind. The author does an excellent job of portraying the thoughts of young boys, eager for Christmas, and how they change and grow in the few short weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Byrne has created such a real character that only an immature reader would dismiss the book because of the profanity (and if you really aren't a fan of the "bad language" then you'll be happy to know that Kate does grow a lot during the course of the book). This book was a total waste of money and if it hadn't been so inexpensive and return shipping so high, it would be on its way back. Or will they perish along with the many that have fallen prior to their arrival.
